Deadly Premonition 2 Launches On Nintendo Switch This July

Deadly Premonition 2, the sequel to the cult classic murder-mystery directed by Hidetaka "Swery" Suehiro, is heading exclusively to Nintendo Switch this summer. The sequel will launch digitally on July 10, and cost $50 on the Eshop.

A new trailer for the sequel, which was initially revealed in September 2019, accompanied the release date announcement. If you're unfamiliar, Deadly Premonition 2: A Blessing in Disguise acts as both a prequel and sequel to the original story. You'll hop between both Boston in the present-day and Le Carré, Louisiana in the past, alternating between the current investigation headed up by Special Agents Davis and Jones while also revisiting the memories of FBI special agent Francis York Morgan in the past.

If all this talk of murder is a bit of a downer, Deadly Premonition 2 will also feature a variety of side activities in its open-world. This includes Bowling, Bayou Rides, Skateboard Challenges, and more. You can also navigate around the city with a skateboard, in case walking around like the broody detective you are isn't really your style.
