Super Smash Bros. Ultimate: No More DLC Planned After Second Fighter Pass

The second season of fighters coming to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate will also be the last bit of DLC to release for the game, according to its director Masahiro Sakurai.

In Sakurai's regular column for Famitsu (translated by PushDustin), he mentions that the next six characters in development for the Nintendo Switch exclusive fighting game will be the last planned DLC updates for it. As Sakurai has already stated, all of these characters have already been chosen by Nintendo.

Sakurai also mentions that there are currently no plans for another Smash entry, presumably allowing him to work on other projects. Sakurai has been working on non-stop on the series since Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and Nintendo 3DS.
